The institute has been established
with an objective to learn about new methodologies and the new technologies,
which have become available for the detection of crime. The government
agencies controlling the crime are sometimes let helpless against
the technique science and methods used by trained and learned criminals.
It is for this reason that they also need trained professionals
to help investigation on scientific and technical level. The Institute
of Forensic Science and Criminology has been established in the
University with the above objectives.
