The life has now become so materialistic, hectic, nerve wrecking and demanding that the man is gradually isolated from himself. People are gradually forgetting their cultural heritage and human bonds that come from the best tuning of body, soul and mind. However Ancient and Modern Gurus of different traditions and Gharanas have kept the legacy of Music and Performing Arts still alive.

Sangeet (Music) is composed of surs (tones) and tals (tunes). Either of them are intractably inter-related, interdependent and complementary to each other in creation of the holistic expression of Gayana (vocal music/ singing) and Vadana (playing with instruments). Fact remains that Sangeet is not only an effective medium of expressing the innermost feelings, ethos, pathos, exhilaration and so on, but is vitally important for mental, physical, spiritual and psychological recreation. Thus, the endeavor of the Institute is to carry on the traditions of music and fine art with the best possible training, studies and research.
